“Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” revealed ahead of E3 2018

Who'd have thought the only thing earlier than Assassin's Creed Origins, is how soon this game was announced. Despite the leading gaming news exhibition E3, being mere days away, Ubisoft has seen fit to announce the title and logo of the next Assassin's Creed game. If their tweet is anything to do by, it looks like any assassin worth his salt may need to be well versed in the art, of a good Sparta Kick.

"Assassin's Creed Odyssey" revealed ahead of E3 2018
The official Assassin's Creed Twitter posted a short video of an ancient Greek knight booting an armoured man off a cliff face, evocative of a certain scene from the 2006 film, 300.

Prior to this a french video game site, JeuxVideo-Live, leaked a picture of a Spartan helmet keychain with the upcoming game's title/logo, almost exactly like last year's mistake where Bayek was seen on a t-shirt before Assassin's Creed Origins official reveal.

Leaked Assassin's Creed Odyssey merchandise
Presumably, this leak prompted Ubisoft's official teaser reveal, with much more information along with a trailer, to be shown as part of their E3 2018 conference.
