Splatoon 2 is a very unique concept. Kids that double as squids live in Inkopolis and have turf wars using ink coloured after themselves.
This fun shooter by Nintendo was a rad inclusion for early on in the Switch's lifetime, but it needed something to keep the players coming back. Since the first one on the Wii U, the few people who owned both the console and the game have been clamouring to make the Octolings playable and now Nintendo has made that dream a reality in the best way possible.
The Octo Expansion brings new single player content that adds to the lore of Splatoon by letting players go through the game as Agent 8. It seems to combine the mechanics of the multiplayer with platforming elements that was shown too little in the game thus via, as it focuses on its main campaign. Upon beating the campaign, players can playing as the Octolings in multiplayer. it seems to have excellent level design and will be a welcome addition when it releases later this year.
