New PUBG Update Adds More Clothing And Fixes Problems

Despite the rate of concurrent players recently dropping, the developers of the hit-game, PUBG, seem to be adding more content to improve the overall quality of the game. However, with some of the issues raised, it may cause the player rates to further decrease.

New PUBG Update Adds More Clothing And Fixes Problems
The highly successful multiplayer online battle royale game, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (or, PUBG) will be receiving a new update very soon. The upcoming update will introduce more clothing items for players available via paid crates or as unlockable drops in-game. But, by having paid crates this may prove to be a bad move by the developers, after the loot box controversy of Battlefront II. The contents of the new update are as followed:

– New paid/FEVER crates can be bought separately from weekly ones
– Early bird key is usable on new paid crate as well and purchased from Steam store
– New free MILITIA crate has a 40% chance of dropping
– New clothing items include turtlenecks, combat gloves, sunglasses, scarves, jackets, polos, boots and more
– Each item has a drop rate ranging from 15% to .0064% depending on the item's rarity

Furthermore, there will be several game balances and fixes provided as part of the new update; items to be addressed will be overall game performance and server strength. Additionally, players will be able to check the number of remaining teammates on their planes. Other fixes focus upon patching out certain cheat methods and glitches that inhibit player abilities. The new update will be available on February 22nd for PC and Xbox One players.
