Before we proceed into the list, please note this list is based solely on my opinion, and is not representative of the entirety of the KeenGamer team. However, if you do disagree or even agree, with any of the content in this list, please be sure to leave a comment down below. Apart from that, lets get on with the list.
6) The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
To kick off the musical list, this seems a pretty solid place to begin. After its release on November 11th 2011, the soundtrack, composed by the John Williams of video games Jeremy Soule (who also composed the soundtrack to Elder Scrolls Online), is recognisable almost all gamers. Even now, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, remains one of my favourite games to play, and with The Elder Scrolls VI, still being a long way off from being released, there is still plenty of time for me to rack up my hours on this classic RPG. Please find the most famous part of the soundtrack of the game below:
5) Dying Light
After its release in January 2015, Dying Light, which is developed by Techland, was one of the most thrilling and revolutionary games I've played. With its unique mechanics making the parkour so satisfying, and an enjoyable story and DLC, the soundtrack to this epic game, proved to be the cherry on top of the cake. The soundtrack is composed by Paweł Błaszczak, and I have picked one of the favourite sections from the soundtrack from the part where you are being chased by volatiles in the last part of the main story.
4) Battlefield 1
It's fair to say that Battlefield 1 is one of the best games developed by EA DICE, and totally dominated the FPS market, after Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare flopped on the market. In addition, the soundtrack to the game is superb, and really captures the atmosphere of the historic period. Of course, when selecting the individual part of the soundtrack, I decided to go with the most obvious, but best part of the OST.
3) The Last of Us
The Last of Us, is seen by many critics to be the best PlayStation title ever released, and with the exception of the Uncharted series, I must agree with this. Parallel to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, fans are still waiting for the next edition to the series, which will hopefully be released later this year. The track I have selected below is the main theme to the game, and comes in the form of a beautifully constructed music video.
2) Fallout 4
When this game was released in November 2015, it proved to be a split verdict amongst gamers, with some thinking the game was great, and others feeling as if it had no reached the heights of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. However, I think this game is superb, and to top it off it has one of the greatest soundtracks I have heard in recent games. Once again, with my choice, I've gone with the most obvious one, but my favourite.
1) Uncharted 4: A Thieves End
Anyone who knows me well, will understand my love for the Uncharted franchise, with it being the best game I've ever played. Unfortunately, my favourite addition to the series, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, was released in 2009, which means that I cannot incorporate it into this list. But despite this, the second most recent addition to Naughty Dog's series, Uncharted 4: A Thieves End, had an equally beautiful soundtrack, which proved to be a fitting end to Nathan Drake. In addition, please be sure to check out where I ranked the entirety of the games in Uncharted franchise. But, before you do that please enjoy the soundtrack segment below:
