The list of now-former CD Projekt Red employees includes:
- Mateusz Piaskiewicz, Lead Level Designer. Now working at Flying Wild Hog (Shadow Warrior and Hard Reset series).
- Derek Patterson, Senior Game Producer. Moved on to Techland (the publisher of Torment: Tides of Numemera and Dying Light).
- Ovidiu Traian Vasilescu, Project Manager. Is now involved with V11 Studio Game (we haven't heard of it either, but they put out an adventure puzzle game about a cat).
- Michal Stec. Senior Art Producer. He is currently unemployed.
What is especially peculiar is that all of them left the studio at roughly the same time last month. In a recent financial presentation, the company's President Adam Kiciński stated that Cyberpunk 2077 is under 'intensive development' and there are over 300 developers working on it. But given the loss of valuable personnel and a rather long rage of job offers on CD Projekt Red's website, the future of this game is now rather uncertain. Still, Kiciński assured that there would be a moment when the studio will show everything they have accomplished so far while working on Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a role-playing game set in a futuristic open world. The key features include upgrading translating implants to converse and understand non-English speakers, a device to experience others'emotions, brain processes and muscle movements and both single-player campaign and co-op elements. The preliminary release is set for 2019.
