The popular anime comedy (that's actually pretty funny) is getting a new animated project, the series' voice actors and official Twitter page announced earlier today. Rest assured: there will probably be fan service.

The hugely popular series that started as a web comic is getting another anime project, KonoSuba's voice actors and the show's official Twitter page officially announced today. There's no word yet as to whether this project will turn out to be another season, movie, or OVA.

The anime - which just finished its second season by Studio Deen - is also getting a visual novel courtesy of 5pb, the makers of the hugely successful Steins;Gate.

KonoSuba follows NEET protagonist Kazuma after he dies a pretty humiliating death. He wakes up to meet a goddess named Aqua and is subsequently offered to be reincarnated in a parallel universe, just as long as he's able to defeat the Demon King waiting for him. Along with the aforementioned airhead Aqua, Kazuma brings a masochistic knight named Darkness and explosion obsessed mage named Megumin, all making for a quite the, uh, "adventure."

In all seriousness though, the show is actually pretty funny. I'd recommend you put it high on your watch list if you're in the mood for a good chuckle.

Are you exited for KonoSuba's newest anime project? What do you think it's format will be? Let us know in the comments below!
