Sega producer and director Toshihiro Nagoshi stated in the publisher's monthly livestream yesterday that the JRPG hit Persona 5 has shipped 1.8 million copies worldwide.
It was relayed via press release that the title surpassed 1.5 million copies shipped back in April, though the game launched in South Korea since then. It's certainly an impressive number, to say the very least.

Persona 5 released in Japan on September 15, 2016 in Japan and has since accrued rave critic and fan reviews all absolutely adoring the game. We ourselves gave the game a 10/10, applauding the entry for its unmatched style, memorable characters, and versatile gameplay.
