Modern Warfare Remastered Standalone Releases June 27

Only months away from the next Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare Remastered seems to be getting a standalone release. It seems to have a strange price point but probably won't stop fans from reliving their Call of Duty 4 memories.

MWR releasing standalone June 27
Modern Warfare Remastered will be getting its long awaited standalone release on June 27 for PS4. Xbox One and PC will most likely follow a month later. It seems weird to release this so late into the games life cycle but it's gonna be nice to have the game more populated with players. Raven Software has also released a trailer for the upcoming release.

The standalone version will be sold in both a physical copy and digital with a price point of U.S $39.99. It's pretty bizarre considering the version doesn't even come with the Variety Map Pack that is sold for U.S $15. In my opinion the price point is too high and might not sell too well but it should be enough to populate the game more. What do you think though? Will you be purchasing the standalone version?
