Rem Sidestory Anime Could Be Funded By Oculus Rift Founder

A Re:Zero Rem IF anime adaption could be brought to the world by way of Palmer Luckey, if a recent Twitter exchange is any indication.

Palmer Luckey, the founder of Oculus VR and designer of Oculus Rift, could be funding an anime adaptation of the Re:Zero Rem IF side-stories, if a recent Twitter interaction is any indication.

A well-known fan of anime, funding an anime iteration is certainly within Luckey's realm of possibility, seeing as how the man is worth $730 million according to Forbes.

The side stories center around a “what if” scenario, with main character Subaru running away with Rem and starting a family with her. In it, Rem grows out her hair and pretends to be Emilia because according to Rem, deception is her only chance to be with Subaru.
