Gears 4 Rise Of The Horde DLC Is Going To Be Free
After the announcement that the Phantom Dust HD remaster would be free just a few weeks ago, Microsoft shocks the gaming world once again by gifting the upcoming Rise of the Horde DLC for Gears of War 4. Yes, you heard that right, the Redmond-based software giant is on a recent generous spree. It gets better, the said DLC will launch on June 6th along with a free trial version of the actual game for those that haven't played it yet. Check out the DLC trailer just below.

The Rise of the Horde DLC will include 15 brand new Horde skills (3 per class) as well as new Level 6 skills, newer loot drops and some new difficulty settings and options. In addition, all the existing skills can now be upgraded to level 6 for an even stronger impact. As for the Gears of War 4 game trial, it will include the entire first Act of the Campaign along with access to both the Horde and Versus online multiplayer. This trial will run from June 9th to June 15th with a 10 hour time limit to spend on it even if the trial period expired and you couldn't complete it in time. A pretty sweet and generous deal no doubt.

I feel like this game is being overlooked, especially on PC. And its a shame, because its a great game (if you like cover based tps). Devs also made full cross play between PC and XBO, so you can play not only co-op, but also versus now. There is also the iconic horde mode, so if you like zombies in cod or ME multi, this is the mode for you.

Maybe people are scared, that its W10 game, but this game has one of the best graphics setting available on PC. Everything is perfectly explained with performance impact and you have detailed benchmark about each PC component separately.

If you have at least slight interest in these type of games, I urge you to try the trial mentioned in the article.

The free trial is certainly an incentive to try the game for those that haven’t. Plus the free DLC, it’s a very good offer that Xbox One owners should not overlook.
