Bricks fly and time warps in the announcement trailer for LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2, from TT Games. The trailer does not give us any gameplay footage, but it does showcase many of the heroes that will no doubt be playable in the game. Some villains, including what is likely the big bad of the title, also make appearances.
At the beginning of the trailer, Rocket Raccoon introduces us to the problem – time is going all wonky. This likely explains how Spider-Man 2099 and Spider-Man Noir are hanging out together with Spider-Gwen. Near the end, we see the source, Kang the Conqueror. Kang is a long-standing Marvel villain with a penchant for traveling through time and messing with the past to make for future that he prefers (usually where he's in charge). He also enjoys going into other timelines and recruiting other versions of himself so he can make a big Kang Klub and screw with time even harder.
LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 is set to release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 17th, 2017.
