Hiring Spree For Final Fantasy VII Remake
Word just got out that Square Enix is on a serious hiring spree to speed up work on the Final Fantasy VII Remake. This seems to be because the game's development is entering the "progress phase." Siliconera picked up the scoop and translated the news as it was in Japanese. The story involved Yoshinori Kitase whose from the leadership team in charge of the game development. He explained the hassle by saying,

For this project, we aim to surpass the original work in terms of quality by increasing the number of staff to strengthen the core company development as we head into the development progress phase.

Twenty years have gone by and the number of generations that aren't familiar with Final Fantasy VII is increasing, so we must remake the game using today's technology and systems in order to make it into a title that can last several more decades.

Reproducing the world of Final Fantasy VII in high-definition requires an extraordinary amount of time and resources, so we'll need all the help we can get to shorten that.

Well, there you have it. Let us hope that they can get an army of developers so that we can get to play the first episode sooner rather than later. For those unaware, this time around the Final Fantasy Remake will be episodic as Square Enix previously explained that putting everything in just one complete game would be close to impossible. Being as it may, we can only hope to get more news on the game at this upcoming E3.
