Far Cry 5 Key Art Revealed

The next title in the series has had its key art revealed today, giving new clues as to the game's plot and its possible focus around religion.

Far Cry 5 Key Art Revealed
Publisher Ubisoft has revealed the upcoming Far Cry 5's key art today showcasing what is presumably the main villain of the game and his entourage for the first time using imagery reminiscent of da Vinci's The Last Supper.

The church in the background, the prisoner with the tattoo “sinner” on his back, the bread, and a Eucharist cup seem to suggest that there is some type of religious cult theme going on, though nothing is confirmed for now. Plane flying may be featured in the game as well.

Previously rumored to be a Western, it's evident that the game is actually set in modern day through each characters' wardrobe and the various weapons sprinkled throughout the scene. This new look at the game follows Monday's release of four new teaser trailers and confirmation of the title's setting in Hope County, Montana.
