Switch owners are going to have a lot of games to play this summer, and that list has just grown bigger with Wayforward's announcement that Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will be coming to the console. While no specific release date has been given, the game is slated to come out this summer both physically and digitally (no word yet if there will be a price difference). This version will also utilize the HD Rumble feature for 150 "custom-made" events.
No other details about the release have been given, but Wayforward has promised that more information will come in the near future. Because the game has already come out on all major consoles up to this point, it's safe to assume that the game will be priced at a similar rate.
The official announcement of the game can be viewed below.
Just recently, DLC for the title was announced. Players will embark on a separate adventure as the villainous Risky Boots. This content is also slated to release in the summer, so it's possible that it could be included with the Nintendo Switch version.
