GPU Tech Conference (GTC)

KeenGamer Nvidia Showcase posts are created in partnership with Nvidia.

At this year's GPU Tech Conference (GTC), NVIDIA is kicking off a showcase allowing interested professionals to get their hands on the latest AR and VR technology, and to meet with their peers to start driving new innovations. It is a must for developers who want to see first-hand the exciting new directions the industry is headed in, and to play a role in the process.

GTC is different from consumer-facing conventions. It offers a focus on industry-leading development that annually attracts the attention of some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Notably, NVIDIA is hosting an AR VR Content showcase featuring 10 companies or teams that are using augmented or virtual reality technology in their projects. Teams will compete for the chance to win $30,000.00 in cash and prizes, as well as invaluable PR and marketing exposure. Each company selected for the showcase will have five minutes to pitch its ideas and another three minutes to field questions from the hosts. Selected companies will also get the chance to demo their solutions in the expo hall and a judging committee will be on hand to select the winner.

GTC 2016

If you would like to learn more about the showcase, check out the submission form, which includes important information about eligibility. Applicants can work in a variety of market segments (gaming excluded), which may include science, education, art, technology and medicine. The deadline for companies to submit their AR/VR non-gaming applications to the content showcase is March 15.

Even if you won't be participating in the showcase, you'll want to make plans to attend the conference, which runs from May 8 through May 11. Until April 5, you can purchase a pass to view the exhibits only for $225, to attend the conference for $1300 (or $540 for a single day), or to attend the conference and training seminars for $1560 ($650 for a single day). For 20% off registration until April 5th, use promotional code CMVRAR.

GTC 2017 is your chance to meet with leaders across many industries, to plan future projects and present them to PR and marketing professionals, and the venture capital capital community to make your vision a reality. It's a great opportunity to plant in a few days the seeds for a bright future that may last for years to come.
