Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind announced!
With the recent success of Skyrim Special Edition, it has become all too clear that Elder Scrolls players love anything to do with lands previously visited. Zenimax Studios have decided to capture this attitude and announce Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC on June 6th, 2017. Morrowind will add many new aspects to Elder Scrolls Online, offering a versatile platform for new players, existing and experienced players, and players that perhaps haven't played ESO in quite a while.

The major lure for this expansion is, of course, the return to Morrowind. Vvardenfell, where the DLC takes place, is the largest zone added to ESO since launch and will use the same geographic footprint as Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, meaning that veterans of the cult classic RPG will undoubtedly feel right at home in its lands. Players will journey through Vvardenfell 700 years before the events of the original game, visiting many of the legendary landmarks from Seyda Neen to the illustrious Vivec City, which is still under construction.

This expansion will also add a new class, The Warden. Players must learn the discipline of nature-based magic in this powerful new class. With this class being the first new one added since the launch of ESO, the class will of course come fully decked out with a selection of abilities to choose from to determine play style. The Warden also brings along his new ally, the War Bear, a devastatingly powerful combatant that will be at the Warden's side through thick and thin.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind will of course include a thrilling new story in which players must save Vivec City from an impending meteor crash, with the help of a demi-god fallen on hard times.

Another main addition is the Battlegrounds PvP mode, in which players will clash in a 4v4v4 arena format. Scores will be settled, lives ended and history made in the Ashlands as players fight for their spot as one of the top fighters in all of Tamriel.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind will be released globally on the Playstation, Xbox One, PC, and Mac on June 6th, 2017, and are currently available for pre-order right now. All pre-orders include the Discovery Pack bonus, which includes an exclusive costume for the Warden class, a Dwarven War Dog pet, Treasure Maps, a Dwarven Crown Crate, and experience scrolls, giving you 50% more experience points for two hours.

This expansion will undoubtedly further drive up the popularity of the already successful Elder Scrolls Online, and may prove to be a driving factor for many people to purchase the game. Only time will tell how good the expansion will be, but if the promo material is an accurate indication of what we can expect, players are in for one hell of a ride.
