According to a new survey by Japanese research and news website Sirabee, which gathered data from 1,400 Japanese respondents across the nation, aged between 20 and 60, 10.7% of respondents answered that they intend to purchase a Switch, which is almost double a previous result for PlayStation VR, which was 5.9%.
Visualized in a chart below, where percentages are split by age range and gender (blue is male, pink is female, and the numbers on the left indicate age range), the results show that males are predominately interested in the system, though the gaps aren't too wide, excluding those individuals in the 40s age range:

I can understand this because PSVR is an accessory whereas the Switch is a completely new console.
Personally, I won’t be buying the Switch as I am not a big fan of Nintendo games and the main selling point of Nintendo consoles are their first party games.
