Nintendo has made an official announcement that the WiiU is ending production soon. This means that the console will no longer be made.
We suspect that the reason for this is that the WiiU was a commercial failure, selling less than 14 million units worldwide due to the poor original advertisement of the console and a lack of third party games.
We expect that the WiiU will see a price drop soon as Nintendo try to get rid of their stock.
