Capcom has posted details surrounding the performance of its games, including the outlook for the rest of its fiscal year (ending on March 31, 2017), intending to go “on the offensive” with the release of Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, Dead Rising 4, and Monster Hunter XX.
Each title is expected to sell, respectively, 4 million, 2 million, and 2 million copies each, including digital downloads.
The company’s expectations for sales for the fiscal year can be found below. North America is expected to overtake Japan with 3.5 million copies against 3.4 million. Games sold at retail is forecasted to be 9 million, against 7.5 million full game downloads, for a total of 16.5 million units.

Only time will tell whether or not the company will reach its sales goals. Resident Evil VII: Biohazard is slated for release on January 24 in North America, Dead Rising 4 is slated for release on December 6 in North America, and Monster Hunter XX is slated for release on March 18 in Japan.
