BioWare’s Mass Effect: Andromeda looks like it will not be finding its way onto Nintendo’s next console, at least not for the time being,

Responding to fan insinuation on Twitter about a Nintendo Switch-related Andromeda announcement during N7 day, Mass Effect Producer Michael Gamble said there were only plans to bring the upcoming RPG to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. Coincidentally, the game is currently scheduled to release in March 2017, the same month the Switch will launch.

A different fan responded to Gamble’s tweet by asking if it was possible the game could come to Switch at some later date, but this too failed to elicit the response fans were likely hoping for. Though Gamble left open the possibility for plans to change, he made it fairly clear that this is not currently something that publisher Electronic Arts has in the cards.

Though few games have been announced for Switch, Nintendo has shared a substantial sample of its development partners. While Electronic Arts does appear on the list, BioWare does not.
