DS4Windows now supports Sony’s official bluetooth adapter

A project fork to support Sony’s adapter, intended only for use with PlayStation Now and Remote Play, has been created for the tool, allowing users the same DS4Windows support but with the added benefits of the device’s Bluetooth range and full use of the headphone jack and touchpad.

The DualShock 4 adapter for PC has been enabled support for the DS4Windows tool courtesy of Reddit user boganhobo.

Released not too long ago, Sony's official USB wireless adapter allows the controller use on the platform, though it's features were only intended for PlayStation Now and Remote Play. Because DS4Windows is an open source project, boganhobo created a project fork to support Sony’s adapter, allowing users the same DS4Windows support, but with the added benefits of the Sony adapter’s Bluetooth range and full use of the headphone jack and touchpad.

Though the update still isn't in the main release of DS4Windows and the software still has a problem with the Windows 10 anniversary update, unaffected parties can find a built executable file here.
