The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the Nintendo NX may have had their release dates leaked, if launch dates for the long-awaited title's Amiibo figures are any indication.
Spotted on the publisher's UK Amiibo page but since removed, the toys were listed with a March 4, 2017 date, supporting Nintendo's claim that their console will launch that month. It's important to note that this date is a Saturday, which is atypical considering most Amiibos debuted on Fridays. It's also an unusual day for a game launch, though not so much for a console, considering the Nintendo Wii U launched on a Sunday in that country.
Its important to note, however, that March 4 2016 was the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD its Wolf Link Amiibo, and that someone doing work on Nintendo's site could have partially copied a date as part of a test, inadvertently putting it live for a period before deleting it.
Though The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been delayed multiple times, Nintendo has gone on the record to say that the title will release for the NX next year. The title's Amiibo figures were revealed in June.
As of the time of this writing, no Amiibo has released prior to its supported game.
