Bandai Namco released an all new trailer for the upcoming sequel for Dragon Ball Xenoverse Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 at this year's Tokyo Game Show.
The trailer shows off a lot of new footage in the game. We see more of Contan City, We see Mira again as she tries to change the history in the series again, which is where we see villains from the Dragon Ball movies. We see a little bit more of the new customization for the Namekians and the Saiyans, I'm interested to see how more fleshed out the customization is for the other races, because that was one of my major complaints with that. The major thing, however that was revealed was the date for the closed and open beta.
The closed beta will begin on October 8 through October 10, and the open beta will begin on October 14 through October 16. Those who download the digital version of the game will be able to play the closed beta, and the open beta will be available for everyone. Unfortunately this beta is only available on the PS4 version in Japan, however as for whether or not there will be a beta for the XBOX ONE or Steam versions elsewhere it is not known at this time. I don't know what will all be available on the beta. The only thing that we know is that there's going to be a world tournament mode. We may be able to do some of the parallel quest, and maybe the six vs one boss battles, but we will find out later on. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be available October 25 for the PS4, XBOX ONE, and Steam.
