Konami has no plans to finish Metal Gear Solid V's story

Accosted by fans during its promotional Twitter campaign for Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience, publisher Konami stated that there are currently no plans to finish Mission 51, also citing that it is "definitely not the ending."

Publisher Konami confirmed via Twitter on Tuesday that it currently has no plans to finish Metal Gear Solid V's controversial Mission 51, adding that the game as is is "definitely not the ending."

Users of the platform challenged the title's official feed on the fifth main installment's "unfinished" nature during promotion for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience set to launch on October 13. When asked by one person as to how long players have to wait for a more conclusive ending, Konami replied with the following:
