Recently, Bandai Namco's free-to-play online golf game, Winning Putt, got its Summer update released. The patch greatly extends guild features by increasing guild’s level caps and adding new Guild rewards. In keeping with the season, the Summer Festival adds new event missions and visual updates.

Players who join forces with other golfers in a guild can now collect guild ranking points. By competing against different guilds in ranked rounds, golfers are able to increase the amount of points earned and help their team climb up the guild ladder. Guilds looking for new teammates can now invite more players, as the total number of possible members was increased from 30 to 40. In addition, the guild level cap has been pushed from 10 to 20.

The latest patch also introduces the sunny season to Winning Putt. Summer decorations in the Square and surrounding areas set the right atmosphere for the newly added festival event: Depending on their mood, golfers choose between hot and cool missions. Each category contains a set of quests with unique items and gold up for grabs. Both mission chains refresh daily so players can tap the Festival’s full potential.

Lastly, the Summer update brings more real-world details to the game. With the introduction of day and night cycles, players will now be able to find themselves at nighttime when joining the game’s Square.
