Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition - new remake of one really old and highly successful game. Is it still good as it used to be 3 years ago?

When the original game was released the reception was very good. Almost all the critics gave the game around 85%. Therefore it is easy to imagine that the remake with better graphics must be also absolutely hilarious. But isn't it too late to publish the Deathinitive Edition? Is the graphics on par with other games being released these days? Searc is trying to describe it and says what is not so hilarious as it should be. But the game is still fun to play in every case.
