Ubisoft has officially presented the report for the 2015 fiscal year, from which it became known that the release of MMO The Division will take place in the fourth quarter of 2016 fiscal year. The fourth quarter of the next fiscal year is between January and March 2016, which means the release of The Division during this peroiod.

The Dev Team reported on the official website of the game:

"We have decided to release the game on Xbox One, PS4 and PC during the first quarter of calendar year 2016.

All of us at Massive, Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment and Ubisoft Annecy want to ensure the game not only meets our high expectations but also those of our fans and players alike. We are proud of what we have achieved so far and can’t wait to show you more next month at E3!"

Ubisoft originally showed The Division at E3 2013 and gained attention and anticipation thanks to it “realistic” portrayal of a postapocalyptic U.S. complete with cooperative action.

Some say the reason is the fact that too many people are working on the new IP. It is known that Ubisoft Annecy has joined the team and now it is collaborating with Massive Entertainment, Red Storm and Reflections.

However, Annecy's studio manager, Rebecka Coutaz, has given her assurance that everything is going as planned, despite having a lot people developing the new game.

"The collaboration with the other studios is going very smoothly, and we're working together to ensure we meet and exceed the high expectations players have for this new title," she said in a report from Gamespresso.

Here’s E3 2014’s gameplay trailer. Again.
