Czech Game of the Year 2014 took place in the lovely city of Třeboň on Saturday, May 8th 2015 as a part of GameDay festival focused on Czech indie developers, networking, meeting with game studios, fans and in general nice chat with players, producers and press. What's more it was also part of the big festival of animated films Anifilm. The official ceremony was located in the beautiful theatre of J. K. Tyl.
Unlike from the previous years the awards were given in four categories. Winners for the categories were chosen from all nominees by jury represented by the association České hry.
This year the statuettes were given in the following categories
Artistic contribution for the Czech gaming industry
award for the creative graphical and acoustic progressivity of the game
Technical contribution for the Czech gaming industry
award for the technical and technological innovation of the game
Conceptual contribution for the Czech gaming industry
award for the originality, gameplay and game’s interference
Best debut in the Czech gaming industry
award for the most outstanding game
To make the picture complete we must add that the moderator was Martin Štross and the musical accompaniment was performed by the Furt Rovně band.
