Lots of people have been complaining about this issue since the Fallout 4 release and the issues are still making troubles. Simplest solution is the DLL file Fixer.

How to skip Intro videos?

Easy fix. Go to C:\Users\[name]\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ and open up Fallout4.ini and under [General] add:

SIntroSequence=1

Then in the same folder open Fallout4Prefs.ini and again under [General] add:

SIntroSequence=1

    I’d highly recommend to not have users download and run a program that claims to “fix” DLL errors, as the errors vary. It’s widely advised against, and what may work well for one is not always going to work well for another. I don’t know how many times I’ve known people to download tools like that and it give them “errors” and download “fixes” that only made things worse. If anything, users should open command prompt (as administrator) and type in “sfc /scannow” — without quotations. Running that command will scan their protected system files and replace corrupted files with a cached copy that is located in a compressed folder on their PC. If they run that command and all comes back good, as in it shows no errors, but you still get errors with Fallout 4, then you need to check the Event Viewer (on Windows 10, just type in the search bar “event viewer” and it will pop up) to see what specifically is causing the problem when the game crashes. A lot of the time it is the program/software/game itself and not so much the system … especially if everything else is running well. Sometimes reinstalling the DX files and Visual C++ (located in the _CommonRedist folder of the Fallout 4 directory) can help depending on the issue, as well. Verifying the game’s integrity, reinstalling the game completely. keeping all drivers up to date (mobo, gpu, windows, etc )…. anything but using a third-party tool for DLL problems.

    I read somewhere that suggests downgrading nvidia driver back to 355.60. That actually works for me. So far I’m not having the bsod every 10 minutes anymore.
