Dragon Quest XI is coming to the Nintendo Switch

Last year, Dragon Quest XI was released for both PS4 and PC and was considered one of the best Role-Playing of 2018, as well as one of the best installments to the long-running franchise.

Now, Nintendo Switch owners will be getting their chance to play this beloved JRPG in the definitive version of Dragon Quest XI. Announced during yesterday's Nintendo Direct, Dragon Quest XI on the Switch will include features not included in the original release. Some of these new additions include a fully orchestrated soundtrack, the ability to switch to the Japanese voice acting and new story content that will revolve around the various party member that you meet on your journey. 

Perhaps the most significant new addition to this version of Dragon Quest XI is the ability to switch between the current Graphics and the16-bit sprit's that were featured the Japanese only 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI. It's currently unknown if the PS4 and PC versions of Dragon Quest XI will be receiving these updates in the form of DLC or a patch.
