New Red Dead Online Details Leaked
Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most anticipated titles in recent years. Rockstar's Western themed action-adventure blockbuster finally launched last Friday and it comes as no surprise to many that it's already a hot contender for game of the year.

A new leak has emerged from the Red Dead Redemption 2 companion app. Dataminers explored the Android and iOS app's coding to find some interesting information on the upcoming Red Dead Online. Not much has been confirmed about the game's multiplayer mode yet. However, we do know that a beta version is set to launch in November.

The discovered details from the coding suggest that Red Dead Online will feature Adversary Modes, similar to the ones present Grand Theft Auto Online. These Adversary Modes give players a chance to experience competitive PvP action.

It was also found that Red Dead Online will include private sessions and ‘‘seamless PvE’’ for players to enjoy. On top of this, the Rockstar Editor, which is already built into Rockstar’s RAGE engine, was found within the files. It’s expected that this will become available for all RDR2 players soon.

The Rockstar Editor in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online gives players the ability to create, edit and share videos of their gameplay. It includes various editing tools such as camera filters, custom camera placement and music to complement their recordings. This will undoubtedly be a welcomed feature in Red Dead Redemption 2.

RDR2’s online mode has the potential to be one of the most exciting features of Rockstar’s critically acclaimed title. However, some fans are worried that it will follow in the footsteps of GTA Online and become heavy on microtransactions. Many believe that Red Dead Online will include a Western take on the controversial Shark Cards seen in GTA Online, which give players the chance to purchase in-game currency for real cash.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
