Anime NYC, the annual otaku-centric convention held at the Javitz Center, announced recently that famed anime and manga illustrators Range Murata and Hiroyuki Asada will be in attendance to sign autographs and appear at panels.

For those that don't know, Range Murata is best known for his work on anime series Last Exile and Blue Submarine No. 6, both of which he drew conceptual art for. He combines Dieselpunk with anime design and has released several art books detailing his body of work.

Hiroyuki Asada is a manga artist best known for his Tegami Bachi, or Letter Bee. Nearly all of his work has appeared in Monthly Shonen Jump, though he gained prominence in the industry through his basketball series I'll.

Anime NYC will return for its second year this November 16 – 18. For more information on guest appearances at the convention, check out http://animenyc.com/.
