Overwatch has been a juggernaut in terms of success for Blizzard. The fast-paced multiplayer shooter has won over millions of fans and even spawned multiple e-sports leagues as well. This is due in part to the multiple well implemented updates and patches the developers put through for the game.
The most recent update had a bevy of changes to many characters. Doomfist'shandcannon has been buffed to recover ammo much more quickly. This will allow the weapon to be better utilized within certain combos against other players. Mei has gotten her own fair share of buffs as well. the duration of her Endothermic Blaster's freeze attack has been increased overall. This will help players slow others down much better. Also her secondary fire takes up less ammo at 20 rather than 25.
Sombra was also updated during this most recent patch. She will no longer gain charge for her ultimate ability by picking up health packs. Her hacking ability's cast time has been reduced also. Her machine pistol's spread has been decreased from 3.0 to 2.7 Her translocator has also increased it's duration from 15 to 20 seconds. She can also see enemy health bars below 100% health instead of only 50% with her Opportunist passive ability. Her hack can now disable the following abilities:
- Genji's Cyber-Agility
- Hanzo's Wall Climb
- Pharah's Hover Jets
- Lucio's healing and speed boost and wall ride
- Marcy's angelic descent
Mercy can no longer see enemy health bars during her Valkyrie move unless they've taken damage. Small changes have been made to the Blizzard World map in terms of more health packs available and changes to their locations/healing amounts. This update can be downloaded on both Xbox One and PS4 and PC now.
