New Community Event and Legendaries available in Pokémon GO
Pokémon GO has continued to build upon it's initial success with multiple updates and additions to the primary experience. The developers, Niantic, have done a great job more recently of taking into consideration community input and finding ways to both implement this information and reward longtime and new players alike. In addition, the most recent addition of third generation Pokémon to the app has helped to boost the games popularity.

Legendary Pokémon Kyogre and Groudon will be able to be caught this week during 'raid battles' at nearby gyms; each has their own strengths and weaknesses and will of course take a dedicated team of high-level players to take down and capture. Depending on which legendary is defeated the most certain types of Pokémon hatch from eggs from March 5-16th. The addition of legendary Pokémon has been controversial to some as a large amount of preparation and sometimes chance is required to have a shot at catching them. This years is supposed to have multiple chances catching legendary types throughout however. Hopefully more chances to do this will make players happier about this inclusion to the game.

Saturday, Feb 24th will also be another Community Day for players to catch rare types of Pokémon. Players will receive 3x stardust from catching Pokémon and can also receive lures that last up to 3 hours. Dratini will have an increased spawn right during the event and must be evolved into Dragonite to receive on with the unique move known as Draco Meteor. A Dragonite caught after this date will not have this move so players will need to be active during the event to receive this rare Dragonite
