INTRODUCTION
As with the first “Top 10 Fallout armor mods” article, this one also aims to help you find the absolute best armor mods for Fallout 4 so you can roleplay a multitude of different characters and keep your game fresh.
Be sure to check out our list of other Fallout 4 mods across other categories:
If you don’t own the game yet, you can buy it on Amazon for PlayStation 4, or Xbox One, or PC.
Chinese Stealth Suit Armor
Starting the list off with a lore friendly option. Chinese stealth suit was made famous by Fallout 3‘s Operation Anchorage add-on and many were disappointed by the fact that there’s one nowhere to be found in Fallout 4. Fear not, cause this mod provides a fully functional suit for you to play ghost while doing your adventuring.
Kerberos Panzer Armor
If you ever read the Kerberos saga manga or watched Jin-Roh anime – you’ll immediately recognize this entry. Kerberos unit is the elite police force established in Japan of the 50s to keep the street riots and terrorist activity under control. The armor is also sure to remind you of the more modern, Helghast from the Killzone series. With such rich inspirations behind it, we find it to be a perfect fit for the world of Fallout.
Flynn Lives – Tron Grid Suits
Metal Gear Solid V – Battle Dress ARMOR
Wanna roleplay as a heavy ass soldier? Battle dress heavy armor pulled straight from Metal Gear Solid V will provide you with protection that’s just shy of being a power armor and give you a tactical soldier look to boot.
Overwatch Pharah Armor
Justice rains from above? It sure does with this Overwatch inspired armor for Fallout 4. Mix it in with a jetpack mod and you’ll be raining all sorts of things from above, justice not least of all.
DC Legends Deathstroke Armor
If there ever was an excuse to roleplay a merciless merc for hire type of character – this Deathstroke armor gives you the perfect one. It fits great with the whole Fallout “make your own armor from different parts” type of aesthetic and you’ll feel like it was in the game from the get-go.
Heroes of the Storm – Tracer Ghost ARMOR
This mod brings Tracer’s high tech suit from Heroes of the Storm into Fallout 4. No matter which color scheme you choose from the 6 available ones, the armor looks amazing. One more mod perfect for roleplaying a character aligned with the institute.
Outfit Collection Lagrie
This is sort of a cheat on our part because this collection mod features 6 armors and outfits rolled into one bundle. They are insanely varied with something for just about anyone. We have an armor reminiscent of Osiris from Destiny, armor similar to one found in Mass Effect series with a Spartan spin on it, a demonic Yakuza suit and mask, a Star Wars-inspired one, and more.
DOOM PRAETOR ARMOR
CROSS CourseR Strigidae Armor
Strigidae suit is a mod of such quality that it has the power to get you to play Fallout 4 again. On the surface, it’s a combination of courser aesthetic from the base game mixed with the Chinese stealth. In practice, this means that you get to feel like a Blade Runner-esque badass machine. And it all comes in multiple colors for you to pick and choose.
So that’s it for our second list of top Fallout 4 armor mods. As the community is still going strong this might not be the last. Do you have any armor mods that you think should be included next or you want to bring to the attention of the player base? Sound off in the comments below.
