August has concluded, and the retail sales chart from the UK has come in. And, the first half of the month seems to have led to both niche and mainstream titles selling well.
Six new August releases are in the top ten. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy topped the chart, with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle taking second. Most surprising of all through is 'Everybody's Golf', a fairly niche title which launched two days before the end of the month, charting at number six. The full chart can be found below:

August's rise in new releases at the end of the month leads us into September. Which itself offers up a wealth of new games as we head into the holiday season. On next months chart expect Destiny 2, Knack 2 and NBA 2K18 to chart high.
