An update for Final Fantasy XV has sneakily found its way to consoles in anticipation of its first major DLC, Episode Gladiolus. Other than laying the groundwork for the upcoming DLC, update 1.06 (and the smaller 1.07 update) hope to improve upon the often maligned thirteenth chapter of the game.
Chapter 13 has frequently been criticised for being too long, making your character too weak, for being full of plot holes, and for essentially being incomplete. Now, however, you will be able to step into the sizable boots of Gladio and fight through chapter 13's Zegnautus Keep, presumably padding out the story as you go.
Noctis's ring magic will also see a big buff, turning him into the powered up badass he was supposed to be and cutting down on the hide and seek antics.
