Overwatch to Fix Roadhog and Winston
With the big Symmetra overhaul and the Bastion change coming soon, it was inevitable that more Overwatch characters were going to be in line for rebalancing.

Roadhog and Winston are set up to be rebalanced, Roadhog will shift away from the hook while Winston doesn't die as easily.

The changes

Lead designer, Geoff Goodman, said that "We have a new build coming soon that has some Roadhog and Winston changes to test out," He said that changes to Roadhog include decreasing his scrap gun spread by 20 percent, and players who get caught by his hook will only be pulled to 3.5 meters in front of him rather than the previous 2 meters, and in addition to that the cooldown of the hook has been increased from 6 to 8 seconds. This will force Roadhog players to stop using the hook all the time and use more of the gun, which has more use at mid range with the spread decrease.

The only change to Winston was decreasing his critical hit volume by 15 percent. That might seem like a small change, but Winston was dying much more than he should due to the large critical hit area that players could destroy him with. Geoff stated that "Winston's head hit volume was just abnormally big, making him take more damage than he otherwise should. This change brings it more in line with other heroes."

Each of the changes is in the PTR Hero Updates section of the Overwatch forum

And all these changes are also now live on PTR build 1.8.0.0.34524, so go check it out!
