is a French video game developer based in Paris, France. It was founded in January 2000 by Alexis Le Dressay, a DPLG architect, and Cedric Le Dressay, a software engineer.
The company currently focuses on developing real-time strategy games for the PC and Macintosh platforms, as well as more recently for certain consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The team consists of more than 50 talented people with in-depth experience in creating real time strategy games.
Eugen is the developer of lesser known games Times of Conflict, released in December of 2000, and The Gladiators: Galactic Circus Games released in October of 2002.
In March 2005,Eugen Systems released Act of War: Direct Action published by Atari and it was the best ranking RTS game of 2005 (82% Metacritics).
In March 2006 was relased expansion pack Act of War: High Treason. The Act of War serie sold more than 700 000 copies.
In 2011 they released R.U.S.E. a strategy game for PC, PS3 and XBox360 consoles and PC with the Top 5 publisher Ubisoft. RUSE is one of the most innovative strategy title released in the last 10 years and has sold more than 800 000 copies.
In February 2012 they released Wargame : European Escalation with Focus Home Interactive. It is a real-time strategy game on PC offering a dynamic, real-time gameplay, and an incredibly spectacular and realistic visual experience.
Richer, more beautiful and more accessible was the sequel Wargame: AirLand Battle (80% Metacritics) released in May 2013. The game features ultra-complete multiplayer modes, where up to 20 players do battle simultaneously.
Wargame: Red Dragon, released in April 2014(78% Metacritics), retains the same core game mechanics that have made the series so successful.
The Wargame franchise has sold more than 1 million copies.
Right now, Eugen Systems is working on Act of Aggression and 2 non announced RTS.
