Lionel Messi returns as the main cover star for all regions on the global cover. Messi has starred on the cover of all installments of the FIFA franchise since FIFA 13, when he replaced Wayne Rooney. Some regions also have a player from their region or a player playing in one of that region's leagues starring on the cover with Messi. These regions and players are:
United States and Canada: Clint Dempsey
Australia: Tim Cahill
Italy: Gonzalo Higuaín
Poland: Robert Lewandowski
Austria: David Alaba
Switzerland: Xherdan Shaqiri
Mexico: Javier Hernández
South America: Arturo Vidal
United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Netherlands: Eden Hazard
Czech Republic: Michal Kadlec
Turkey: Arda Turan
Japan: Atsuto Uchida
For the first time ever, players have memories and will show emotion based on the context of the match. With over 600 new emotional reactions, players now respond to big moments on the pitch as they would in real life. Each player has an attitude or feeling towards every teammate and opponent on the pitch.
Bad tackles, missed chances and crucial goals - all 22 players on the pitch will react naturally based on what’s been happening during the match.
Facial expressions and body language will let you experience the attitudes and emotion of your favourite players.
Emotion & Intensity is one of the core pillars of FIFA 15.
Agility and Control: Players react and move with closer control and balance when on the ball.
Man-to-Man Battles: Tackles are now more rewarding and physical. Possession Tackles allow you to keep the ball after winning a challenge.
Correct Contacts: Ball movement changes the game. Now every dribble, touch, pass, shot and deflection will see accurate movement according to what the ball last touched.
Set Piece Control: Take control of players receiving the ball during throw-ins, corners and free kicks, and place them in better positions.
Team Management: An all new Team Management system gives you greater control and personalisation of different squads.
Team Tactics - All new tactics “Park the Bus” and “All Out Attack” are just some of the tactics fans can utilize in matches in FIFA 15. Change your team’s mentality and have them adapt to any situation.
The FIFA 15 development team has brought the Next Generation footballer to Xbox 360 and PS3. New character models and body rigging mean players appear more lifelike, powerful and athletic, while their kits will become dirty with mud and grass.
Barclays Premier League: All 20 stadiums, an extra 200 new 3D player faces, Goal Line Technology and a stunning broadcast feel
Turkish Süper Lig: The most requested league returns to FIFA with all 18 teams featured.
