is an upcoming enhanced version of the original Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War.

Image titleBladestorm returns with remake of the 2007 action game. Included are the complete Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War storyline, new Nightmare campaign, new graphics and online multiplayer.

Bladestorm is a strategy game where the player takes the role of a mercenary and chooses to fight either for England or for France. All missions are inspired by real events and battles during ‘the Hundred Years War’ (1337 - 1453). It was one of the longest and most politically unstable periods in European history.

Players can assume command of different kinds of army units and also develop their own unique character and complete various missions irrespective of sides and loyalty. Troop types are wide and varied, with standard troops like footmen, bowmen, and horsemen to more exotic troops like elephant troops, cannon troops, and siege weapons.

Players can choose realistic normal mode (Hundred Years War) or explore a fictitious original narrative in 'Nightmare' mode.

In the Hundred Years war, players enjoy a free mission system that allows them to experience the battle from the view points of both the English and the French. Meeting and interacting with such heroes of history as Joan of Arc and Edward, the Black Prince, brings the story to vivid life.

In 'Nightmare' mode, the war between England and France wages on as a mysterious horde of outlandish creatures appear to be led by a form of Joan of Arc, who has turned evil. The malevolent army is comprised of numerous types of Dragons, Giants and Demons in infinite numbers and the kingdoms of England and France must momentarily cease fire and join legions to abolish this nefarious force.

This new mode allows the player to take control of an additional 32 playable characters, based both on fictional and prominent historical figures of the time.
