EmergeNYC enters Steam Greenlight

For those interested in trying out a realistic simulation of New York City's emergency services, take a look at EmergeNYC, a debut game from the small mod developer FlipSwitch Games. Drawing inspiration from Grand Theft Auto LCPD:FR, fans of that mod might enjoy what this title has to offer.

EmergeNYC enters Steam Greenlight
EmergeNYC is an upcoming game from the small development team FlipSwitch Games, and in this title you are able to take on the role of various emergency service providers in a simulated version of New York City as it undergoes various emergency situations.

EmergeNYC was recently approved as an addition to Steam Greenlight, the service that allows independent developers to have a chance at marketing their games to a large audience after being voted in by the online community.

In the current build of the game, the focus of development is placed on the Fire Department, with the player being able to take on the role of a fireman on foot, in a couple types of fire engines, and has limited multiplayer.

The final game plans to give the player the ability to take the role of the Fire Department, Police Department, Emergency Services Dispatch, and other services.

The game is not yet in Steam Early Access, but a tech demo of the game will become available within a week for those that have supported up to the Deluxe support perks at this time.

If you are a fan of mods such as Grand Theft Auto's LCPD:FR or other simulations of municipal and emergency services in games; consider investing in the game's development and support the team.
