One of the largest video game hubs worldwide

Montreal, and the province of Quebec, is home to more than 10,000 developers and industry professionals, making it one of the largest video games industry hubs in the world. It is one of MIGS main missions to tap into this creative hub to facilitate a unique and exclusive access to high-level experts of the industry for its 3000+ attendees.

With multiple conference tracks, master classes with world-renowned experts, a Technical Lounge and Expo Zone, MIGS is designed with personal interaction in mind between experts, senior and junior professionals.

Since last year’s master class roaring success, MIGS16 will for the second year welcome top industry profiles such as Alex McDowell (5D Global Studio) and Krzysztof Lipka (CD PROJEKT RED). Once again this year, the master classes will be presented by TECHNO Compétences.

For the very first time this year, MIGS hosts the Video Game Bar Association (VGBA) and their Summit on Games Business and Legal Affairs, the definitive conference for international practitioners of interactive entertainment law. MIGS is co-presented by the Canada Media Fund, an essential support for innovation in the industry of Canadian production.
