Free Demos When You Buy PlayStation VR

Sony has announced the game demos that will be included in the retail PlayStation VR units upon release. Wether getting the launch package or core headset unit, you'll be able to enjoy these games!

PlayStation VR Be the First to Experience
Sony announced that every retail unit of PlayStation VR (launch bundle and core packages) will include a demo disc for everyone to enjoy the fine art of virtual reality right away. Upon completion of the demos, players will be able to purchase the full game via the PlayStation Store. An added bonus to this is the demos will be added to the digital store for free download. The game demos included are:
  • Allumette (Penrose)
  • Battlezone (Rebellion)
  • DriveClub VR (SIE WWS)
  • Eve: Valkyrie (CCP Games)
  • Gnog (KO_OP)
  • Harmonix Music VR (Harmonix Music Systems)
  • Headmaster (Frame Interactive)
  • Here They Lie (SIE WWS)
  • Job Simulator (Owlchemy Labs)
  • PlayStation VR Worlds (SIE WWS)
  • Resident Evil 7 biohazard — Kitchen Teaser (Capcom CO., LTD.)
  • Rez Infinite (Enhance Games)
  • Rigs Mechanized Combat League (SIE WWS)
  • Thumper (Drool)
  • Tumble VR (SIE WWS)
  • Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (SIE WWS)
  • Wayward Sky (Uber Entertainment)
  • Within (Within)
Eve: Valkyrie VR gameplay on PlayStation
Building onto the list of initial free VR experiences, players will be able to indulge in several mini-games in the PLAYROOM VR (more details here). These games range from cat and mouse pursuits and hunting ghosts in Ghostbusters fashion. Play solo or with friends; this offers a fun party dynamic to the launch of VR. Dozens of purchasable games will release to coincide with the units' debate on consoles within the first month or two, be sure to check out Sony's official upcoming games list for more information as it gets updates.
