Zenith, the humorous RPG from Infinigon and BadLand is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A game focusing on parody, unorthodox characters and fantastical adventures, Zenith will be entering the “golden era RPG games”. The very charismatic team behind Zenith shares some game features to get excited about:
Exploration: Yes, we've got a world map. Ain't we just amazing?
Bosses: Because everybody loves kicking the crap out of big monsters!
Worldsaving: You'd think the government would be able to do what they're being paid for instead of tinkering with apocalyptical devices. Just saying
Dungeons: There are so many ruins and temples lying around the world that they almost count as a natural resource.
The game will have an in-depth story to compliment the many characters, extensive dialogue, and in-your-face humor. While the game will not have multiplayer, the team counters with the idea that no multiplayer is, in fact, “a feature these days”.
The story will follow a former wizard in his 30s just wanting some peace and quiet. He gets caught in the middle of an apocalypse and has to deal with monsters as well as wannabe heroes. The game takes an interesting step back to kind of break down the walls of the game dimension to introduce rather satirical gameplay. It’s an interesting and ambitious idea.
