EA has confirmed that a sequel to Star Wars Battlefront will be coming next year.
Another Star Wars game, developed by Visceral and Motive, will release "most likely the following year," suggesting a 2018 release for the unnamed game. According to EA the next Battlefront will have "bigger and better worlds." The game will have content from the new movies.
There is also another Star Wars game coming from Visceral but EA said it expects to release at least one Star Wars game per year "over the next 3 to 4 years." EA are also working with Respawn, who made Titanfall, on another Star Wars game.
EA announced its financial results for the year and the company reported $4.566 billion USD in net revenue for the year, and stated that Star Wars Battlefront made over 14 million since release.
